Mohamad Taufik, Deputy of Budgetary Board for City Council supported the IT-based modern parliament. It aims to reduce the using of paper. Moreover, the legislative archive can be stored well.
“Today’s parliament system is still traditional, we need to change to be more modern,” he said, Saturday, (12/12).
According to him, he has difficulty to look for already issued bylaw since the document is still printed.
“I have to go to archive storage to look for the document,” he added.
He continued that the elimination of traditional system could also save much budget.
Jakarta Provincial Government has applied IT-based for several activities such as e-planning, e-budgeting, and e-catalogue.
“The budget for this plan has been proposed in 2016 city budget,” he stated.
