Jakarta Provincial Government is continuously trying to prosper its citizens by providing development and services. That is why the Jakarta Regional Revenue and Cost Budget (APBD) keeps increasing every year. It is even predicted that the 2012 Amendment APBD to increase Rp 5 trillion or a total of Rp 41 trillion.
Head of Jakarta Regional Finance Management Agency (BPKD) Sukri Bey said the increase is caused by the Government Capital Equity (PMP) in the amount of Rp 400 billion for PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara. Besides, there are also some prioritized programs that can be finished in three months, such as land acquisition for new green open space (RTH), etc.
"Amendment APBD is allocated for works that have continuous nature, such as the procurement of flood pumps, JLNT (non-toll flyover), and the construction of Pulo Gebang Terminal. In addition, there are also some projects for public’s purposes that will be finished in three months, like road repairs, RTH, bus procurement for TransJakarta, etc.,” exlained Sukri at the City Hall, Tuesday (5/15).
As known, the 2012 Jakarta APBD reaches Rp 36.02 trillion. Until May 10, budget absorption, especially for spending, only reached 19.06 percent or Rp 6.4 trillion. Spending has two structures, namely direct and indirect spendings. The absorption of indirect spending is 28.3 percent or Rp 3.2 trillion. As for direct spending, its budget absorption reached 14.3 percent or in the amount of Rp 3.1 trillion.
