THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE

Types of Certificates :

1. The common birth certificate constitutes the certificate made based on the birth report declared at least 60 days after the birth
   
2. The special birth certificate. It is made after 60 days of birth
   
3. The dispensation birth certificate. It is made in a different rule from the common birth and the special birth certificates

Certainties :

• The birth declaration is at the urban village office within 30 days after the birth
  
• The birth declaration of the foreign citizen and of the temporary resident. After being registered at the urban village office it is declared to the Population department office Mayoralty
  
• The registration for the birth declaration for those who are not the Jakarta inhabitants (the seasonal inhabitants, visitors) and they will get the birth identification papers issued by the urban village office, but it is not processed with the computer system

• Making of ID card/the family document/the family registration number
• Making of the driving license

• Performing the marriage registration
• Performing the pilgrimage
• Taking care of the death
• Taking care of the divorce
• Taking care of the child recognition
• Adopting a child
• The voting utilization
  

Requirement :

1. Introductory letter from the neighborhod association (RT/RW)
2. The birth identification paper from doctors/midwife
3. The family document
4. The marriage document
5. The visitor identification paper/KIPEM for those who are not the Jakarta inhabitants
6. The identification paper for the Permanent Resident Registration (SKPPT)and for the Temporary Resident Registration (SKPPS)
7. The identification papers for the Purifying Inhabitant Registration for those who declare late until 90 days or the identificatin letter issued by the local court for those who declare late more than 90 days
   

The Registration Deadline :

The birth registration for Indonesian citizen (WNI) is done within 60 days after the birth for those who are obedient to Staaatsblzad 1849, and for the foreign citizen (WNA) the birth registration is within 10 days after the birth
